Vivo v40 has a major focus on the camera aspects which includes the selfie camera and the packaging of the product cameras and the design. The phone has amazing design both the front and the back, Its back is has a unique camera design and a well finish like velvety sandpaper for the back cover.
The vivo V40 has a screen size of 6.78-inch, aggressively curved, 120Hz AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage space. The phone was launch was announced on 2024, June 17 and later released on 2024, July 03.

The phone comes with a GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G technology networks which is actually great for browsing through the internet. It has a dimensions of 164.2 x 75 x 7.6 mm (6.46 x 2.95 x 0.30 in) and weight about 190 g (6.70 oz), it is built with a Glass front( which is covered with Schott Xensation Alpha-hardened glass offering lesser optical clarity and scratch resistance), plastic frame, glass back. It possess a Single 50 MP, f/2.0, 21mm (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF and comes with a HDR. While for the Video aspect of the front camera has a 4K at 30fps and a 1080p at 30fps video quality.

The Vivo V40 comes with an Android 14 and Funtouch 14 operating system and has a Qualcomm SM7550-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset which is said to have three years of software updates and four years of security patches.
The V40 is said to have 50 months of smooth working operation without any lagging or slowdowns due to the system's intelligent control over background tasks. The chipset relies on the CPU Octa-core (1x2.63 GHz Cortex-A715 & 3x2.4 GHz Cortex-A715 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A510) and a GPU Adreno 720. The system also supports up to LPDDR5 RAM.
The V40 phone has different storage space, it comes with internal storage space of different varieties like 128GB, 256GB,512GB and with RAM storage of 8GB and 12GB( where this is the largest RAM space you can find). It does not have any memory card space and it listed as UFS 2.2.
Connectivity and Audio
The V40 has different connection method for data transfer and file sharing, here are some connection options available;

The V40 has some basic features that is the same as its predecessor, it come with a Sensors Fingerprint which uses an in-display fingerprint reader and an optical sensor that is very efficient and reliable, it also has an accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass.
The phone comes with different colours varieties like the Stellar Silver (also known as Titanium Grey), Nebula Purple (also known as Lotus Purple), Ganges Blue, Moonlight White, Sunglow Peach. It comes with a Models V2348 and has a Specific Absorption Rate(SAR) head value of 0.97 W/kg for global, 0.97 W/kg for Europe and SAR body value of 0.90 W/kg for global and 1.14 W/kg for Europe.
Battery capacity
The V40 has a battery type Li-Ion which has a capacity of 5500 mAh(long lasting battery), it is non-removable which means that when the battery is damaged or spoilt cannot be replaced or fix, it has a Charging power of 80W with a wired charger.

It is an excellent phone which has high performance and High-quality photos, color reproduction and excellent video stabilization. It comes with a very powerful chipset and a high storage capacity which is incredible for gaming experience.
